Using a cigar box, fabric, yarn, ribbons, lace, fancy papers, cabochons and more, fashion a bespoke vessel for sparkles and treasures. Be in the Minneapolis May Day Parade with the ArtCars and ArtBikes! Work with artists Tara Fahey and Kallie Melvin to create a fanciful structure from cardboard, from batmobiles to spaceships. Some artful reuse materials will be available to decorate, and you will get a 10% discount code to purchase any additional materials you want at the nearby ArtScraps store. Then join the parade on Sunday, May 4th for a celebration of spring and community.

Artist Bob Ross was famous for his wet-on-wet style painting. In this class, work with artist Kari Fraki to learn some of the techniques that he used to create a landscape painting full of color and texture. Bring a beverage of your choice,  roll up your sleeves,  and get creative in this relaxed evening workshop at the ArtScraps store.

Art from the Heart - Create a Mini Book, Unique Greeting card

Visual artist and poet Marie Olofsdotter will help you write a brief poem inspired by Mother’s Day, or any other theme close to your heart. Embellish the card using collage, stamping, stickers, and more, and walk away with a cherished gift for someone special. All materials are provided.
